Elect the next Minister of Magic

This year, the United States is having one of its most important Presidential elections. It's funny because a select few of my friends are really into politics and whole conversations are sometimes wasted listening to two people decide why Hilary Clinton would have made a better candidate just because she's a woman. Although I will be voting in November, (haven't exactly decided who yet) for the time being I'll just watch Saturday Night Live skits make fun of Sarah Palin.

This year, Mugglenet wanted to get in on the action but take it from a "Potter" perspective.

Over the next couple of months, running right up to the US election on November 4th, they are letting their fans and readers help the site vote a new Minister of Magic. Mugglenet's team has selected eight candidates, which are divided into personal parties: the Wizocrats and the Hogicans. The fans will elect one representative from each party who will face off on election night. Each candidate has their own Twitter which the fans can use to follow them on as they campaign throughout the Wizarding World. Mugglenet has thought of everything, and even thoughts from their own political experts will be available for each and every match up.

Sometimes I wonder about my HP addiction, but I believe that everyone should have some sort of hobby.

In rough times.

This is all I've been doing lately. Reading and Waiting. Waiting for what you might ask, well I don't know what I'm waiting for, but something has to change soon.

She burns like an angel on fire.

She puts her hand next to me. She says give me one reason.
But then she blows out the candle.
And shows me the reason again.
She burns like an angel.

Shitty Days.

Shitty Nights.
Really?
Bring it on life.
What do you have to throw at me next?
I'm cold.

Law Of Attraction

You get what you think about, whether wanted or unwanted. The Law of Attraction is neutral.
All forms of matter and energy are attracted to that which is of a like vibration.
You are a living magnet.
You get what you put your energy and focus on, whether wanted or unwanted.
Energy attracts like energy.
Everything draws to itself that which is like itself.
"As a man thinks in his heart, so is he." Proverbs 23:7
Like attracts like

Whether its birds of a feather flock together, like attracts like, whatever you want wants you, what you sow, you reap, what you put out you get back, what comes around goes around.

Sorry

So I've been busy.
Well I guess not really, just haven't been on the computer as often as I used to be.
Which is why I'm apologizing right now for my lack of entertaining blog posts, not that my blog posts actually entertain you.

I'll be back soon.

In the meantime...

Scrubs

Relationships don't work the way they do on television or in the movies. Will they, won't they, then they finally do and they live happily ever after, give me a break. Nine out of ten of them end because they weren't right for each other to begin with and half the ones that get married get divorced anyway. And through all of this, I have not become a cynic; I haven't. Yes, I do happen to believe that love is primarily about pushing chocolate covered candies and, in some cultures, a chicken. You can call me a sucker, I don't care, because I do. . . believe in it. Bottom line, the couples that are truly right for each other wade through the same crap as everybody else but the big difference is they don't let it take them down. One of those two people will stand up and fight for that relationship, if it's right and they're real lucky. . . one of them will say something.
